51st ANNUAL GRAND NATIONAL ROADSTER SHOW San Francisco, CA Sponsored by
Bonneville Watches Official watch of the show

This years edition of the most famous car show in the world was again held in San Francisco. This year the event was held from January 6-9 and included some of the finest cars hot rodding has to offer.

As with last year Bonneville Watches sponsored the event and was named the official watch of the show. In addition to sponsoring the show Bonneville had an extensive booth with the newest clothing, die cast cars and accessories from their catalog and a huge selection of watches.

The Bonneville Watch division awarded three watches this year. A "12.4.8" watch was awarded to Chuck Svatos of Nyack, New York this years winner of the coveted A.M.B.R. award. The winning car was a '32 Ford that was truly deserving. Marshall Chesrown brought his bright orange and black '55 Nomad to the show and walked away with the "Best Custom" award and a Gearbox" watch. Finally, Paul Yaffe of Phoenix, Arizona won best bike award and a Bonneville "Gearbox" watch. Paul's champagne and black bike was an outstanding piece and the paint incredible.

Bonneville Watches are the hot rod of watches. Like the cars at the Roadster Show they are hand built by craftsman, from steel and feature a mechanical movement. Like fine automobiles, Bonneville watches appeal to all of us who like fine mechanical works of art.

Winner of "America's Most Beautiful Roadster" Owner: Chuck Svatos, Nyack, NY Does the winner of this year's show looks somewhat familiar? The car was originally the bright yellow Boydster II. Owner Chuck Svatos and Chip Foose reworked the car painting it black and installing a new interior. For the effort Chuck was awarded the prestigious AMBR award and a Bonneville 12.4.8 watch!
